Portraits

This is my mom in the middle of two of her 9 sisters. They're a riot to be around, they took after grandma. She's a mom like no other, at 79 there's no stopping her when it comes to cooking. She still makes dozens of tamales and huge pots of food for when we gather. Cooking has always been one of her joys in life along with her grand kids. She was a single mom in several occasions in her life and having 9 kids to feed was not an easy task. She always said she hit the jack pot when she met my step dad Eddy, he took all of us in and has never looked back.
